Yes. Sleep, nursing, bottle, solids, and diaper logging; personalized on-device prediction; and trends can be used locally without an account. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, App Intents, and the Live Activity timer are unlocked with LumaNest Plus and also run on device. Without Cloud Sync, profiles, records, and model files normally stay on that device.

Signing in identifies an account. Cloud Sync is a separate optional feature. Existing local records are uploaded only after you explicitly enable Cloud Sync and confirm the offered local-to-cloud setup.

Cloud copies of caregiver information, baby profiles, care records, timers, custom food-library data, and synchronization metadata are stored on LumaNest's backend and synchronized with authorized devices. Turning sync off on one device does not delete the account or cloud copy.

You do not need to sign in for local-first features. Account-backed features support the sign-in methods shown in your build, including email/password, Google Sign-In, and Sign in with Apple where available.

Use Activity CSV import for a compatible activity CSV, and use manual backfill when you prefer to enter history by hand. Export completed Sleep, Nursing, Bottle, Solids, and Diaper history with Activity CSV export. Import and export processing happen on device.

Confirm LumaNest has notification permission if you expect alerts; check Home Screen and Lock Screen widget configuration and the selected baby; keep a sleep timer active for Live Activity; and allow Background App Refresh if account or widget catch-up seems delayed.

Yes, when Cloud Sync is available in your build, you have the required Plus entitlement, sign in, and explicitly enable it. Devices may take a short time to converge, and local logging continues while offline.

Delete an individual record or baby through its in-app confirmation. Clear local data to erase only the current device. To delete the account and cloud data, use Profile → Account → Delete Account, reauthenticate, and confirm. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Personalized predictions begin once your baby is at least 2 months corrected age and has enough recent sleep history. LumaNest needs at least 5 qualifying days in the last 30 days. Relevant records on the device, including records received through Cloud Sync, may train or calibrate a separate model for that baby on that device.
